Dr. Merete Halkjaer Olesen, plant pathologist at Aarhus University in Flakkebjerg, Denmark, visited Dr. Lindsey du Toit’s vegetable seed pathology program at the WSU Mount Vernon NWREC from 20-23 July 2015 to work on diseases in spinach, table beet, and Swiss chard seed crops in northwestern Washington.
