The Volunteer Display Gardens are public gardens located on the grounds of WSU Mount Vernon NWREC. They are open to visitors year round, from dawn to dusk. The gardens occupy about 10 acres of land, and are maintained by volunteers from several western Washington gardening groups including:
- WSU Master Gardeners Discovery Garden
- Washington Native Plant Society Garden
- Western Washington Fruit Research Foundation Garden
The purpose of the Garden is to provide educational opportunities for the public through viewing and hands-on gardening experiences.
