Driving Directions

From Seattle

1. Drive north on I-5.
2. Take the Kincaid Street exit (226).
3. From the exit ramp, turn west (left) towards Mount Vernon.
4. Turn right at the first traffic signal (3rd Street), wrapping around the edge of downtown to SR-536.
5. Cross the Skagit River Bridge and travel west through West Mount Vernon (~2 miles).
6. WSU Mount Vernon is on the left (south side of highway) 1/3 mile past the Avon Allen Road intersection. After you have crossed Avon Allen Road, watch carefully for our flag and sign—the parking entrance is very easy to miss!

From Bellingham

1. Drive south on I-5.
2. Take the SR-20 exit (230) for Burlington/Anacortes.
3. Go west about 3 miles.
4. Turn left at the stop light onto Avon Allen Road.
5. Continue about 2 miles until the SR-536 intersection.
6. Turn right at the traffic signal onto SR-536.
7. WSU Mount Vernon is on the left (south side of highway) 1/3 mile. Watch carefully for our flag and sign—the parking entrance is very easy to miss!
