What is Pollination?

Illustration of a sign with a bee flying between two roses. Yellow rose with detail labeled 'stamen', 'anther', and 'pollen'. 'Pollinator' carries 'pollen' to red rose. Detail labeled 'stigma', 'pistil', and 'ovary'.

Pollination is the movement of pollen from the male reproductive structure of the plant (anthers) to female structure of the plant (stigma) in order for the plant to produce seeds for reproduction.
