Probable future trends are not limited to temperature; we also anticipate changes in the type and timing of precipitation, and total amounts. Better understanding of the future climate of the Skagit basin will help us implement policies for adaptation purposes. This presentation will review the observed and projected changes in the climate of WA state from a water supply perspective.

Dr. Nick Bond is a principal research scientist with the Climate Impacts Group (CIG) of the University of Washington (UW). He is the climatologist for the state of Washington. Family and friends feel that his interests in the weather and climate of the Pacific Northwest, and their applications, are borderline obsessive.
