- Drive north on I-5.
- Take the Kincaid Street exit (226).
- From the exit ramp, turn west (left) towards Mount Vernon.
- Turn right at the first traffic signal (3rd Street), wrapping around the edge of downtown to SR-536.
- Cross the Skagit River Bridge and travel west through West Mount Vernon (about 2 miles).
- WSU Mount Vernon is on the left (south side of highway) 1⁄3 mile past the Avon Allen Road intersection. After you have crossed Avon Allen Road, watch carefully for our flag and sign—the parking entrance is very easy to miss!
- Drive south on I-5.
- Take the SR-20 exit (230) for Burlington/Anacortes.
- Go west about 3 miles.
- Turn left at the stop light onto Avon Allen Road.
- Continue about 2 miles until the SR-536 intersection.
- Turn right at the traffic signal onto SR-536.
- WSU Mount Vernon is on the left (south side of highway) 1⁄3 mile. Watch carefully for our flag and sign—the parking entrance is very easy to miss!
