The WSU Mount Vernon Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center (NWREC) is hiring a front desk receptionist. The position is available on a temporary part-time or full-time basis, depending on the availability of the applicant. The successful applicant will be responsible for answering incoming calls, manage Center email, process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments, scheduling meetings, filing and record keeping, and fiscal support at WSU Mount Vernon NWREC. The position is well-suited to someone looking for an entry level position to gain experience and knowledge of office administration and management.
Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, etc; ability to multi-task and complete assignments accurately. Previous clerical assistance/fiscal support experience or demonstrated organization and customer service skills preferred.
