Reservation Information

The Agricultural Research & Technology Building (ARTB) represents a unique partnership between Washington State University and the agricultural community of northwestern Washington. The construction and renovation efforts represent many years of planning, fundraising, and hard work culminating in a modern, efficient research and meeting facility.

Washington State University Business Policies & Procedures provide the basis for offering services and/or renting space at our Center. Fees charged to cover expenses for building operations and maintenance are applied to administration, audio-visual, care of grounds, custodial and utility, environmental safety, repairs, security, and/or supervision costs.

Our business hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday. We are closed on holidays and weekends.

If you will need access to the building during non-business hours, please indicate this on the reservation request form.

We do not take phone reservations for any of our facilities.

Thank you for reserving the Sakuma Auditorium for your upcoming event. WSU Mount Vernon is a green facility, please use compostable tableware if you are serving food, compostable tableware is available at an additional charge. We also provide at no charge a water dispenser or pitchers, please do not bring bottled water.

Farm Facilities

WSU-Mount Vernon NWREC offers experimental research field space to qualifying individuals, institutions and agencies. We are committed to high quality research efforts, transparency and integrity in research methodologies, and prompt delivery of research-based information, and ask those who work here to share in this commitment. The brochure Agricultural Field Research: Policies & Guidelines outlines the policies and procedures for using farmland at WSU NWREC. The Field Research Application Form must be completed and submitted for final approval before land is assigned for research.
