White Bloom
- M. baccata v. jackii (Jack Crab) – Very early, one of the earliest bloomers. Very large upright-rounded tree, dense green foliage lasts to late fall. Good disease resistance.
- Sentinel – Early. Upright growth, vase shape as it matures. Bright red buds are showy even before bloom. Red fruits remain on tree, often as dried berries, till the next spring.
- Sugar Tyme – Early. Dense, brilliant white bloom, spectacular, highly fragrant. Compact upright tree. Red fruit is profuse, lasts all winter.
- White Angel – Early-mid. Mildly fragrant very abundant bloom. Upright spreading, open branched tree. Red fruit profuse, outlining long branches, persistent till midwinter.
- Evereste – Mid. Very dense, fragrant, long lasting bloom. Compact tree, semi-weeping when mature. Scab immune, stays green till late fall. Large red fruit, culinary and cider use, decorative for outdoor swags, very persistent.

- Golden Raindrops – Late. Attractive starry flowers. Upright spreading, distinctive cutleaf foliage stays green till fall, may turn yellow or bronze. Small bright yellow fruit. Excellent disease resistance.
- Adirondack – Late. Pale pink buds open to fragrant white flowers. Upright habit, profuse bloom, good disease resistance. Small oval shaped fruit very profuse, distinctive pink-orange color, hangs on tree all winter.
- Silver Moon – Very late. Mildly fragrant flowers hang in bell-like clusters. Large vigorous upright-spreading tree, needs lots of space, very good disease resistance. Red fruit often not conspicuous.
Pink Bloom
- Louisa – Mid. Soft pink, mildly fragrant bloom. Strongly weeping habit, can be used as specimen tree if grafted high, like weeping cherry. Coppery leaves attractive in summer. Inconspicuous yellow fruit.
- American Spirit – Mid-late. Long bloom period with large maroon buds, mildly fragrant magenta flowers. Dark bronze-green leaves and red-purple new shoots are attractive. Upright habit. Inconspicuous dark red fruit.
- Candymint Sargent – Late. Multicolor pink bloom, low spreading habit, not over 6'-8' high. Dark red to purplish foliage lasts all summer into fall. Dark red inconspicuous fruit.
- Prairifire – Late. Strong deep pink, very dense long lasting bloom, eye-catching. Spreading tree habit, coppery foliage darkens in fall, keeps most leaves. Dark red fruit. Excellent color and form.
- Prairie Maid – Late. Deep pink bloom, mildly fragrant. Spreading habit, green leaves contrast with pink flowers, good disease resistance. Dark red fruit liked by birds, does not last long.
